Last week we attended a conference regarding ErP ( Energy Related Products ).
As of 26th September 2015 all heating related products will be required to have product Fiche ( Label ) to allow customers to compare the efficiency of products using a common and easy to understand graphic label, much like fridges and freezers and other white goods currently have.
a B rated appliance is defined as being below 82%
an A rated appliance is defined as being below 90%
An A+ rated appliance is defined as being below 98% and so on.........
There will also be Package labels, for example a boiler may have a rating of 95%, a room thermostat may be rated at 2%, and a high end programmer at 4%. these will be added together to give 101%. which would be A++ package rating.
We will update as the time gets nearer.
